Each of our teachers are fluent in Spanish, and have plenty of experience teaching grammar, pronunciation, and listening comprehension. Each of our members in the iLoveSpanish network are dedicated to teaching so the student learns and understands every aspect of the language as well as the culture. We will motivate you to succeed; you will have a personal teacher with you every step of the way, correcting you and immersing you in the Spanish language.
Joel is the founder and developer of ILoveSpanish.net™. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sacramento State University, CA. Joel loves speaking as well as teaching Spanish, and has traveled to Mexico several times, including the cities of Mexico, D.F., Rosarito, and Guadalajara. "To really learn a language" he says, "you must first walk among the people and know their culture and their harmony." Joel's other interests include golfing, playing roller hockey, Oakland A's baseball, computer programming, and listening to talk radio.
Zach is a senior at California State University, Sacramento. He is a
Spanish and American Sign Language major, and also has an Associate of Arts
degree in Liberal Studies. He has taken 3 years of Spanish classes in high
school, and 3 years at the University level. He has studied Spanish in Mexico
at the Spanish Institute of Puebla and at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He loves to travel and has seen much of Mexico. He tutored middle
school children with Americorps and elementary school children in a program
called Target Excellence. Zach loves meeting new people and is always excited in learning new skills.
Maurice is a Graduate Student in the Spanish Master’s program at California State University, Sacramento. He already has his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor concentration in Spanish. Maurice enjoys the study of the Spanish language, and is looking forward to exploring the various regions of the world where it is spoken in the near future. In his free time he loves to travel, exercise, and play sports.
